John Okafor aka Mr Ibu Loses 2-Year Old Son

It has been reported that Nollywood comic actor John Okafor better known Mr Ibu has lost his son Emmanuel Mandela Ibu. We’re told Ibu lost his two-year-old son fondly called Mandy yesterday, Monday, January 24, 2012 to food poisoning.

We however were not been able to speak with the actor at the time of this report.
 
Okafor debuted in the Nollywood scene with ‘Vuga 2’ movie in 2000 and has gained prominence with his comic movie roles.
 
About a year ago, He along with his household were abducted by kidnappers. They were later released.

Saturday, November 26, 2011, it was indeed the day that the Lord most high had made for both Chinedu Ikedieze and his new wife to be Nneoma Hope Nwajah. Family, friends and well-wishers came together for the elaborate wedding of star actor, Chinedu Ikedieze (MFR) a.k.a Aki and Nneoma Hope Nwajah. Funny man Aki was so excited to get married again this time to a woman that care and cherish his love, height and career, most importantly a family but not for the fame or money.

The traditional marriage was held at the St. Theresa’s Catholic Church Primary School field, Obolo, Isiala Mbano, Imo State.
 
The event attracted dignitaries from all walks of life including entertainers and politicos - the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, (AGN) Segun Arinze, Uche jombo, Oby Edozien, Ejike Asiegbu, Osita Iheme (Pawpaw) among others.
 
The white wedding already dubbed, “A celebration of true and undying love” by the actor is expected to be held elaborately in Lagos on December 10.

34 years old Nollywood funny actor Chinedu Ikedezie aka 'Aki' is set to get married again, this time to his lovely wife to be Miss Nneoma. The traditional wedding is planned to take place on the 26th of November at Mbano in Imo State, Nigeria where the bride hails from. The venue of the event is St. Theresa Catholic Church School Field, Obolo Isiala Mbano in Imo State.

This will be followed by the white wedding which will take place in Lagos on the 10th of December.

Popularly known as Aki of the Aki and Pawpaw fame, Chinedu Ikedezie and Nneoma have been dating for some time now before finally deciding to make it official and tie the knot.

The family of one of Nigeria’s top comedian and Nollywood actor John Okafor (Mr Ibu) have been kidnapped in Enugu State. This was confirmed in a short interview with a friend of the Okafors, who said they were kidnapped on their way home, yesterday.
 
Mr Henry Oduenyi told reporters that he had been on the phone with Mr Okafor, who said the car carrying members of his family and in laws was trailed from town.
 
“I learnt it happened at about 7pm, the kidnappers in another vehicle trailed the car carrying his wife, his 14 months old baby as well as a brother and sister in law” he said. Mr Oduenyi said the incident has since been reported to commissioner of police.
