Mother of famous pop singing duo P Square, Mrs Josephine Okoye is dead. Mrs Okoye was reportedly flown to India a few months ago after her earlier admission at St Nicholas Hospital, Yaba, Lagos, for an undisclosed illness.
It would be recalled that Mrs Okoye was in support of her sons’ career and was also a huge pillar to their success while she was alive. Her last public appearance at her children’s performance was at the Psquare Invasion concert in August 2011. She was a Christian minister before her death.
Mo’Cheddah took a year’s break off music to focus on school and only recently graduated from university. After moving on from her previous management, she’s been back in the studio working with the best producers on the release of material for her next album “Supercharged”. Expect collaborations with Wizkid, Davido, GRIP Boyz and an international act.
