Naked Abuse of Female Africans In Israel (PHOTO) Tags: African News Migrants Politics Nude Photos
In this photo, AFP captures a women described as a prostitute in a series of raids by Israel’s immigration police aimed at rounding up and deporting illegal African immigrants.

The scene was recorded on Tuesday near Levinsky Park, in the Mediterranean city of Tel Aviv, where thousands of migrants reside. The question urgently begging for an answer is why was the woman not allowed to put on clothes before her arrest.

Israeli authorities on Monday rounded up dozens of African migrants slated for deportation, most of them from South Sudan, as the government weighs tough penalties against Israelis who help illegal aliens.

The Population and Migration Authority said in a statement that officers arrested 45 migrants from South Sudan, along with three Nigerians, two Ghanaians, two Chinese, one from Ivory Coast, one from the Philippines and one whose nationality is being checked.

Israeli public radio said that in at least two cases, during early-morning swoops in the Red Sea town of Eilat, women with young children were picked up as they walked on the streets and were driven away.

Journalist and rights activist Toni Lissi told army radio that suspects in the town were picked up on the street, in banks, at their places of work and in door-to-door searches.
“The people arrested were taken on buses to detention centres. Their mobile phones were confiscated,” she said.

“Other immigrants are hiding in their homes, not daring to go out until things calm down,’ she said.
An Israeli court on Thursday ruled that the lives of an estimated 1500 migrants from South Sudan are no longer at risk in their homeland, clearing the way for their mass expulsion.

Israeli daily Haaretz said that a government committee on legislation had approved submission of draft bills which would raise the maximum penalty for Israelis who employed, housed or transported around the country illegal immigrants to five years in prison from two at present.

The bill is expected to go to parliament for a preliminary reading this week. The interior ministry says that approximately 60,000 African immigrants have entered Israel illegally, including those from South Sudan, with which Israel has friendly relations.

South Africa's Jacob Zuma seeks ban on artwork; vandals hit Tags: South Africa News Jacob Zuma Nude Photos African News Politics
South African President Jacob Zuma and his African National Congress sought a court order to have a painting depicting the president's genitals removed from an art gallery, but two men took matters into their own hands by defacing the portrait with gobs of paint.

The case pits freedom of expression against the right to dignity, both guaranteed by South Africa's constitution. The painting by Brett Murray went on display in a Johannesburg gallery this month and came to the ANC's attention a week later, after local media reported it had been sold. Zuma, who has a reputation for promiscuity, took the depiction very personally and compared himself to a rape victim. Zuma himself was put on trial for rape, and acquitted, in 2006.

"The portrayal has ridiculed and caused me humiliation and indignity," Zuma contended in an affidavit filed Tuesday with the South Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg.

Presiding over the hearing in a courtroom a few kilometres from the gallery, Judge Fayeeza Kathree-Setiloane said the full three-judge bench should hear the case because the national interest and constitutional issues are at stake. She said the hearing would recommence on Thursday. Zuma and the ANC sought to have the painting, titled The Spear, removed from the Goodman Gallery and to stop the newspaper City Press from displaying a photo of it on its website.

At about the time the hearing was under way, two men wielding cans of red and black paint calmly walked up to the painting hanging on a gallery wall and took turns defacing it. The defaced painting is a black, red and yellow acrylic on canvas that was priced at 120,000 rand (about US$15,000) before an anonymous buyer purchased it recently.

In a style reminiscent of Andy Warhol's brightly coloured Marilyn Monroe portraits, "The Spear" depicts Zuma in a suit, looking off into the distance.
"Now it's completely and utterly destroyed," said Iman Rappetti, a reporter for a South African TV channel who happened to be on the scene at the time as her camera rolled.

Her channel showed a man in a tweed jacket painting a red X over the president's genital area and then his face. Next, a man in a hoodie used his hand to smear black paint over the president's face and down the painting. The men were finally detained by gallery staff - the second man was head-butted and thrown to the ground before he was handcuffed - and police took them away.

Rappetti said she initially thought the first man was part of a performance art piece, and said staff at the gallery was slow to react. "The extent of the rage has astonished me and upset me very much," gallery owner Liza Essers said in a statement. Murray, the artist, through the gallery, refused to comment.

In a statement on the defacement, the ANC said it "cannot condone any action that is not legal". The party then inserted race into the debate by noting that the first man accused of defacing the painting, who is white, was arrested without incident, while the second man, who is black, was shown in a tussle with gallery guards. The ANC compared that to apartheid South Africa, when blacks were "treated differently from their white counterparts".

Witnesses, though, said they did not at first understand what the first man was doing, and that he then quietly moved aside and did not resist when gallery security detained him. The guards tried to stop the second man from defacing the painting, and he resisted, witnesses said.

Police spokesman Vish Naidoo said the two unidentified men, aged 58 and 25, are expected to appear in a magistrate's court Thursday on a charge of malicious damage to property.

After the painting was defaced, a third man spray-painted the first three letters of the word "respect" on a wall near the gallery's front gate before he was taken away by police, and Naidoo said he, too, would be charged with malicious damage to property and was likely to appear in court Thursday. The man shouted that the gallery had shown the president disrespect.
Back at the courthouse, more than 100 pro-Zuma protesters gathered outside. One, Donavan Cloete, wore a T-shirt with the slogan: "President Zuma has a right to human dignity and privacy".

"The artist has got his own views on the political situation. He has a right to express himself," Cloete said. "On the other hand, there's got to be a line drawn as to what constitutes satire and what constitutes insult."
But Sophia Morren, a ceramicist who was in the gallery when the painting was defaced, said Zuma had shown little respect for himself. She referred to Zuma's six marriages - he currently has four wives - his 21 children, and his acknowledgment in 2010 that he fathered a child that year with a woman who was not among his wives.

"He's famous for all his women, all his children. I get exactly what the artist is saying," Morren said. "Zuma shouldn't be complaining. Really."
Zuma was acquitted of rape in May 2006 in the country's most politically charged trial since the end of apartheid. Trial testimony had raised questions about Zuma's attitude toward women and whether he had the judgment to govern. Testimony he gave about having unprotected consensual sex with an HIV-positive AIDS activist demonstrated an amazing ignorance about HIV transmission by a man who once headed South Africa's campaign against the virus.

In his affidavit filed Tuesday, Zuma said he rejected suggestions that speaking out about the painting would "exacerbate the pain I am feeling about the image being publicised widely.

"This argument is similar to suggesting that, inter alia, victims of rape should not complain about the violations they have suffered because doing so will lead to publication of their ordeal. It is suggested therefore that such victims should keep quiet in order to limit public knowledge of their rights."
The painting is part of an exhibition of Murray's sculptures and paintings called "Hail to the Thief II." The ANC denounced the show as an "abuse of freedom of artistic expression".

Nairobi, Kenya - A real life tragedy of untold magnitude befell a Kenyan "couple" when some strange forces saw the two stuck together after an infidelity session at a Nairobi guest house early this week.

Viewer discretion is advised to watch video

However, counteracting forces came into play when a local pastor called upon to pray for divine intervention commanded the duo to separate, to the bewilderment of the amorous man the adulterous wife.

According to news reaching AjabuAfrica.com, and a youtube video widely circulated on the internet, the cheating “couple” got “stuck” in the highly embarrasing situation with the man completely unable to get off the woman.

The graphic video displaying minute by minute progression of the drama has gained over 135,000 hits after only 3 days since posting.

Reports indicate that the husband to the woman had suspected for long that his wife was cheating on him.

Feeling betrayed, he is reported to have visited a witch-doctor who applied black magic on the wife, causing the unfortunate man to get stuck inside her during the act.

After several hours and repeated efforts to separate failed, the “couple” decided to call for help using a cell phone.

Police responded to the distress calls but for hours, they could not rescue the pair from the “black magic”.

A big crowd of curious residents, some perched on nearby rooftops and stone fences, swelled outside to witness the drama, as police ran out of options on how to help the two.

Many jostled for position to take a glimpse of the unfolding drama, with some snapping pictures and live video footage with their cell phones and hand and other held camcorders.

Others tried to openly entice policemen with money in order to be allowed to jump ahead of the line for a better chance to take a glimpse of the unfortunate situation.

“Young man, what is going on? Just say what your problem is so you can be helped,” a policeman, speaking in local dialect (Kiswahili) told a bewildered looking, naked man  lying prone on top of the half naked woman who covered her face with a piece of cloth.

Dumbfounded friends pleaded with the woman’s husband to agree to have the pair now facing embarrassment of untold magnitude separated.

Eventually he agreed to have them   separated on condition the cheating man paid him Kenya shillings 20,000 as compensation for damages and embarrassment suffered.

However, audio from a widely circulated video indicated the husband said eh would not want the cheating woman back.

The cheating man had little choice but to agree to the deal.

To seal the deal a pastor was summoned to pray for the divine intervention.

“We rebuke the spirit of devil!. I now call the mighty God......, who hates the power of death, to call upon your name now ....,” loudly declared the clergyman who burst into the tiny room filled with a  number of  police officers and curious onlookers.

He then proceeded to ask the couple if they believed in the name of God.

“Munaamini mungu?” (Do you believe in God?).

After the man said yes and nodded further in agreement, the pastor then commanded him to get off the woman.

“Siutoe hiyo kitu. Toka!” (Pull that thing out. Out!), the pastor commanded.

A short while later, the man succeeded to separate himself from the woman who was now sobbing uncontrollably.

For a moment, the mesmerized man stared at the people in the room in disbelief, before he was able to move and gather his clothes.

“Anaangalia namna gani huyu? Huamini,” (Why is this man staring like this. You don’t believe it?), a policeman was heard asking the man.

Once free, the bewildered looking man gathered courage, dressed up and was escorted rushed to a nearby ATM while the woman remained sobbing in the bed, too ashamed to make any move before the curious crowds could be successfully dispersed.
