He outplayed the following housemates in the top six finalists; Prezzo from Kenya, second, Lady May, the Namibian, third, Talia from Zambia came at the fourth position, Ugandan Kyle came fifth and at the sixth position was Wati from Malawi.

 

Talking to journalists at the close of the show emceed by the emblematic host, Nigerian IK, Keagan said his favourite place in South Africa is his hometown, Cape Town and that the best thing about the continent is “the amount of cultures we have and the people that make Africa a better place”. 

 

Outside of Cape Town, he added, his favourite place in the world is Miami, USA, where he lived for 5 years. 

 

His friend and Big Brother Africa StarGame partner Lee, inspired him to enter for the show, along with the money on offer. He partnered with Lee as they are best friends and have known each other for over 18 years. “We know each other’s qualities through and through and will be a vital force in the Big Brother House,” he mentioned. 

 

According to Keagan, he was not worried with the millions of eyes that watched him for 91 days, however, he thanked them for supporting his long sojourn in the house and now he is looking forward to as many invitations as possible to visit other countries in Africa, as he is an enthusiast of travelling. 

 

The South African promised to invest some of the money to help him in the future, give some cash to a charity after some careful research, and help some of his family members.

 

From day one in the Big Brother Africa House, there were thirty-five housemates from fifteen African countries. These included; Nigeria, 3, Kenya, 3, Angola, 2, Botswana, 2, Ghana, 3, Liberia, 2, Malawi, 2, Namibia, 3, Nigeria, 3, South Africa, 3, Sierra Leone, 2, Tanzania, 2, Uganda, 2, Zambia, 3 and from Zimbabwe 3 housemates.

 

 

The colourful opening of the BBA7 finale cut across the show top African artists bringing down the house with what they know how to do best – slamming and jamming. On the roll call were; Ghanaian rapper and Black Entertainment, BET, Award winner, Sarkodie, Khuli Chana from South Africa, Hip-Hop sensation from Uganda, Navio, the Nigerian international D’banj with his song “Oliver Twist” that has taken ‘hostage’ the African world. Also on the spice list were DJ Champagne and Channel O Video Jockey, VJ, Denrele.

 

Another ninety-one amazing days have come and gone, so BBA enthusiasts in Cameroon and other parts of the African continent are looking ahead to BBA8. Of course, with many surprises and new twists from the organisers.

Meanwhile,  WG gathered that since taking that wholistic step to cement  their relationship in marriage, the African Queen coroner  may have  gone underground probably  to allow the dust raised by his action to settle.

 

Tuface’s spokesman, Bayo Omisere,  when  contacted by WG to confirmed the buzz only muted that “I can’t confirm the story right now because I can’t reach him. All his cell phones are switched-off, I have tried to reach him but I couldn’t. I have also contacted all those who are close to him but  he can’t be reached.”

 

 

Those who witnessed the long overdue  “love-drama” said when Tuface made the proposal, Annie apparently could not control her emotions as tears of joy rolled down her cheeks freely, while  cuddling the music star. She later tweeted  on her Twitter  “OMG (Oh My God) the love of my life just proposed to me.” She also tweeted, saying that “I’m serving a living God…”

 

 

It would be recalled that the romance between Tuface and Annie had been on for more than ten  years and just two years ago, she had a daughter named Isabel for him. Tuface has four other kids, two each from Sumbo Ajaba and Pero Adeniyi respectively.

 

 

Few weeks back, news spread like wild fire that Tuface was expecting his sixth child, having impregnated Pero the third time The story, was confirmed by his publicist Bayo Omisere

 

Since his relationship with Pero, Annie and Sumbo started, many fans of Tuface had been wondering whom he would eventually settle for as wife.

 

That riddle may have been resolved. Annie Macauley was one of the ladies that starred in Tuface’s award-winning music video, African Queen. She started her acting career some years back after emerging as one of the runners-up in Sola Fajobi’s organised TV reality show, Next Movie Star.

The honour was bestowed on Chaka Chaka last night in Davos, Switzerland.

 

The prestigious award was started in 1995 and is presented to distinguished artists who have used their respective talents to improve the state of the world. Some of the previous recipients include US musician extraordinaire Quincy Jones and award winning actor Richard Gere.

 

“In many respects, Yvonne Chaka Chaka has been a true ambassador of our country, its culture and people. We applaud the wonderful work she does promoting quality health care and other social development issues in the continent. We are immensely proud that the World Economic Forum has today recognised her in this way,” said President Zuma in Davos.

 

 

Zuma said he was especially pleased that Chaka Chaka’s work in the area of global health and issues affecting women and children, especially in Africa, had been afforded the worldwide recognition that it deserved.

 

“We hope that this award will encourage more people at home and abroad to work together with governments to address matters affecting especially women and children,” said the President. – BuaNews”

This year, she will be 19 years in the Bar. She also appears at Supreme Court. Her father is a former Attorney General of Commissioner of Justice. She is very deep and never in a rush.

 

Before getting angry, she will analyze everything. In fact she is my adviser. On how she handle some of the controversial stories that come my way, initially; she did not like them but she has learnt to know the truth. What really convinced her were 2 stories that were written at a time; one was about her and she knew the real story. Since then, she takes them with a pinch of salt.

 

She has learnt to cope with it over time, it was a bit disturbing for her but these days when it happens, she just stays behind and says ‘do your thing’. She is quite comfortable with it now. We enjoy each other’s company, we talk together and we are having the best times.

 

Sometimes, she will send me texts to confirm a story on phone, sometimes I tell her it’s trash. We live in the jet age now.

 

About my ex-wife, Ann, no comment. Seriously, I need to respect my wife. That’s a closed chapter in my life. Ann is a wonderful actress and a great person. Please let’s leave it like that.
