Prior to the burial proper, artistes had gathered Thursday July 17, 2008 at Lagos Television (LTV 8) premises ground for candle light procession and prayers. Later they proceeded the deceased Yoruba television station, Yotomi TV and later to his Ogba, Lagos residence.

By 10.00am on Friday July 18, 2008 men of Ashes to Ashes Funerals Limited led by Femi Odubela had brought the remains of the deceased in a white casket for lying-in-state at the National Theater, Iganmu Lagos. During the lying-in-state which was conducted by Taiwo Akinsola and Taiwo Ishola, the President of Association National Theater Arts Practitioners (ANTP) Prince Jide Kosoko, Managing Director of High Waves Video Mart, Chief Aina Kusoro, Managing Director of Bayowa Films and Records, Gbenga Adewusi, star actor Ernest Obi and Alhaji Lawal from Aromire family were among those who gave tributes to the deceased based on the fact that he pioneered movie making on video, he also established Yotomi Television; the first Yoruba speaking TV station and started a residential estate scheme that favours the masses.

Thereafter his remains was driven in a motorcade to his residence in Magboro, Ogun State where he was finally committed to mother earth after a brief service conducted by a group of clergymen.

Among those who attended the funeral service of the movie icon which was organised by Yoruba movie actor, Rammy Shitta-Bey and others were Prince Jide Kosoko, Chief Aina Kushoro, Gbenga Adewusi, Kayode Odumosu, Ade Adewoye, Ola Ibironke, Bimbo Oshin, Ernest Obi, Kehinde Adeyemi, Soji Taiwo, Moji Olaiya, Yetunde Wunmi, Bukky Black, Muka Ray, Nike Peller, Sodiq Adebayo and others.

Late Prince Alade Aromire was born in 1963. He is survived by an aged-mother, 6
children (Bolaji, Sulaimon, Jubril, Dolapo, Bisola and Damilola) and 5 wives (Kudirat, Yemisi, Toyin, Sherifat and Fausat).
